Roberto Laborda is a multi-faceted musician. The success of his compositions in Europe and Russia has rendered him excellent reviews. His works entitled "Senzalas" are a serie of works for symphonic orchestra, chamber music and Concertos. Among his most outstanding works we can mention his opera called "Santa Dulce", premiered in Rome during canonization ceremony, celebreted by the Pope Francesco in octuber of 2019 and the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra dedicated to Queen Silvia of Sweden premiered in the Palau de la Música Catalana (Barcelona-Spain).

Laborda won the First Prize in the Vienna Academy Composition Competition (Austria), was laureate in the third edition of " II Antonin Dvorak International Competition" (Prague, Czech Republic) and Prize Winner in the London Classical Soloists Competition (England 2017). He appeared conducting and playing his compositions in several countries such as Italy, England, Russia ,Portugal, Czech Republic , Spain, Germany and Brazil.
Born in a family of musicians, Mr. Laborda began to play the piano spontaneously at the age of 5 and at the age of 7 he composed his first work on the piano. The Laborda family has a long lineage of composers and musicians, including Pilar Laborda, his great-grandmother that worked with the famous violinist Pablo Sarasate.
